Re: Clantag Protection for ESP clan
Hallo! @->--
I want to apologise because there has been a misunderstanding concerning my name which was "[RUS]sniper.338". Not only because I still have some friends calling me "rus" or "russ", albeit we only meet on my server, I would like it to be altered back to "[RUS]sniper.338". Since the string already contains the maximum number of characters allowed for usernames, thereby making it impossible to add clantags to it, henceforth,
if (possible, like it was on SCC servers)
associate the name, "sniper.338" in addition to "(ESP)sniper.338", with the clantag, under the one and only account with the main username, [RUS]sniper.338
else if (the 2 accounts were not using too much space in the database)
revert back to the previous 2 accounts namely, "[RUS]sniper.338" and "(ESP)sniper.338" or recreate the sniper.338 account as a virtual account, disabling statistic recording and visibility, if possible, so that clantag(s) such as "(ESP)" can be added to it
else
Only rename back to "[RUS]sniper.338" thus, disabling the possibility of adding clantags to it
I would like to seize the opportunity to acknowledge the fantastic work done here by Mr Berk
and wish you and your fellow ogros mates a Happy New Year 2013 with peace, happiness & prosperity...
Thanks in advance.

Re: Clantag Protection for ESP clan
Hello sniper.338
I am sorry but only your last suggestion is possible. I can rename your account to [RUS]sniper.338 and add the clantag in our database to your account.
That means you can still play with the clantag (e.g. (ESP)sniper) or just with your account [RUS]sniper.338.
Then the account [RUS]sniper.338 is protected and not sniper.338
The negative aspect is that your name will listed as (ESP)[RUS]sniper.338 on our scoreboard.
Is that Ok for you ?
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask, and thx we also wishing you a Happy New Year 2013
Regards
Berk

Re: Clantag Protection for ESP clan
Hallo Berk!
Well, I first thought that such a string like "(ESP)[RUS]sniper.338" would not be supported in the database, because of its length, but since you mentioned that it is indeed possible then, this instantly unravels things out dude!
Therefore you can surely proceed with the renaming of my name to "[RUS]sniper.338" in addition to adding the "(ESP)" clantag to it. Even if my name will be listed as "(ESP)[RUS]sniper.338" on the scoreboard as you said, which may sound somewhat like ludicrous in my opinion,
yet if that is the only way of adding the clantag to my name then, let it be like this...
I would further like to express my gratitude towards you for your concernment and I would like to wish you a very good day on this very first day of the year...

Re: Clantag Protection for ESP clan
Hi again ogros.
We were talking in our clan about our name.
Now is (ESP), but is possible to change it into [ESP]?¿
We prefer the second name.
EG: [ESP]DrakoSpain.
Another thing, can u change our description to
[ESP] - ESPAÑOLES - SPANISH SPEAKING CLAN AND INTERNATIONAL
Regards,
DrakoSpain

Thanks for correcting my name Berk!!!
@->--
By the way, what would happened to the player, with the name "[ESP]Jareth", who is not in the clan, if the clantag was to be changed to from (ESP) to [ESP] lol !?
